This engagement session includes two of San Francisco’s most recognizable and loved locations. Palace of Fine Arts’ impressive structures look amazing with our bride’s long, floral dress and Crissy Field is the perfect location to have a colorful picnic on the beach while enjoying the sunset setting by the Golden Gate Bridge. We love how this session combines effortless and relaxed with a little glamour. Also, if you follow our blog, you may have noticed that we are incorporating more film photography into our recent weddings and sessions. In this Crissy Field and Palace of Fine Arts engagement session, we have mixed in more film photos into our traditional work. Enjoy!
This Canadian couple was planning their wedding at San Francisco City Hall and wanted to follow up with photos in an area with Eucalyptus trees. The first location that came to mind was Lovers Point in The Presidio, which has gorgeous natural beauty but, also thankfully has Eucalyptus trees. The day of the wedding we were lucky to have some sunlight, which resulted in the airiness created by the natural light hitting the trees. So gorgeous.
This particular spot in San Francisco is specially meaningful to Sally and Sean. Marshall Beach was actually the location where our groom proposed to our lovely bride. They wanted to come back here for their engagement session and we were happy to oblige. We are fans of Marshall Beach’s diverse dramatic landscape and intimate view of the oh so iconic Golden Gate Bridge. It was a fun afternoon of exploring, writing on the sand, and watching the fog rolling in…. all very San Francisco!
We photographed Elaine and Tim’s Encore or Day After session 3 years ago and just a few weeks ago, their maternity session. It was such an unexpected but pleasant surprise when we received the email that they are expecting. Needless, to say we were more than thrilled to be included in welcoming their new baby Grayson. That is actually one of the most rewarding things about being photographers. We get to grow with our couples and be a part of their happiest milestones. To welcome their new baby, she wanted to share the news with family and friends through a gender reveal maternity session. It was loads of fun getting all the details together for this shoot and in the end the gender reveal complete with gender balloon was a complete success! We love the happiness that emanates from our couple’s faces and wish them so many more smiles as Grayson officially enters the world in a few months!
