This San Francisco maternity session on the beach takes place at one of our favorite locations to photograph. We are really inspired by the natural settings near San Francisco, but beaches are specially close to our hearts. The tones of the ocean and sand around sunset are unbeatable and we consider ourselves lucky to live in this beautiful city, close enough to the water to get to photograph them as often as we do. Now on to our expectant couple- we first met them 5 years ago when we photographed their wedding in the beautiful outlook at Crystal Springs. We were thrilled when they contacted us about doing an anniversary session last year and when they shared the news that they are expecting their first baby this year, we were beyond happy for them! It’s always a pleasure to photograph these two, but this time it felt a little sweeter. We feel so blessed to have been able to see this couple grow into a family and look forward to being able to meet their little boy in the future too.
This Viansa Sonoma Winery Wedding was one of our favorite weddings to photograph recently with good reason. Viansa Winery is located right in Sonoma wine country and has amazing views of the mountains nearby. It also has beautiful manicured areas that we knew we definitely wanted to use for photos. We especially loved the images we were able to get when we slipped out around sunset for some bride and groom photos. Our couple was lovely and such a joy to photograph. They even wrote their own personal vows that they shared after their just the two of them during their first look. We were touched by them and how emotional this private moment ended up being. You could really feel how happy they were to see each other and having us be witnesses to their special moment was an incredible honor Congrats to them and we are so happy that we were able to capture their love-filled wedding day for them at Viansa Sonoma.

We have had the pleasure of photographing weddings at some remarkable venues here in California as well as in New York City and as far as Singapore. But, one venue that we have always wanted to photograph is Kohl Mansion and it wasn’t until early this year that we were able to achieve that. We really loved the historic architecture and the well manicured grounds. It gives off such a grand and elegant atmosphere, which was perfect for Michelle & Alan’s wedding. Our bride’s glamorous side styled hair and her beautiful dress fit in perfectly in the vintage black and white checkered tiles found inside the Kohl Mansion. It brings to mind the Great Gatsby-like celebrations and elegance characterized by the 1920’s. We really enjoyed documenting this beautiful Kohl Mansion wedding and we wish our lovely couple best of wishes in the future!
