Some love stories are best told with a little bit of whimsy — and Samantha and David’s wedding at The Aerie at Eagle Landing was exactly that. Set in the rolling hills of Happy Valley just outside of Portland, their day was the perfect blend of elegance, laughter, and playful charm.
As avid golfers, Samantha and David knew they wanted to bring a part of their shared passion into their celebration. The Aerie, with its scenic fairways and on-site mini golf course, offered the dreamiest venue to make that vision come to life. It was a setting that felt personal, lighthearted, and utterly romantic — everything a wedding should be.
Their ceremony took place just before sunset, surrounded by tall evergreens and the softest golden light. Guests were treated to mini golf rounds during cocktail hour, and each hole had a sweet story or inside joke behind it. It felt like stepping into the couple’s world — playful, deeply connected, and full of joy.
Samantha’s delicate gown and David’s sharp tux looked even more magical on medium format film, which the couple added to their photography collection. We captured every tender glance and heartfelt smile on both film and digital, giving their gallery that soft, timeless glow that only film can bring. Hood and the valley below, it's a gem for any couple wanting a blend of romance and personality in their wedding day. There are hidden corners for portraits, expansive green lawns, and thoughtful amenities that make the day flow beautifully.
