Erika was born in Daegu, South Korea and lived there until she was 6. She then moved to Puerto Rico where she learned Spanish and started her true love all animals.
Erika spent 6 more years in Puerto Rico where she learned Spanish and English. She then moved to Alabama where she was introduced to Southern Food.
After highschool, Erika attended the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). After 2 years she moved to NJ to finish up her degree.
Michael was born and raised in Jersey. This is where we met and fell in love. It is also where we fell in love with photography together. We started our business in 2010 photographing weddings in New York City. Since we love nature as well as photography, we photograph more outdoor weddings and San Francisco, with its proximity to California Wine Country and the Pacific Coast was a perfect fit.
The song goes “I left my heart in San Francisco” and while a piece of ours will always be there, we truly found a home in Portland. The breathtaking landscapes and warm accepting people have made the transition seamless. Our roots are digging in deep here!
