Washington Horse Farm Engagement Session

We have said it time and time again that our favorite aspect of our job as photographers is meeting clients from all walks of life, with their own unique stories. We love how diverse our clients are and one of the interesting couples that we photographed recently are Selena and Nowell. Their passion is riding horses and are both incredibly skilled cowboy mounted shooters! It was actually the first time we had heard of mounted shooting, but we are immediately wowed by the videos of Selena doing her thing and being amazing at it! Since horses are such a huge part of this couple’s life, there was no question about where to have the engagement session. Their private property in Southern Washington features a renovate barn, a riding course, and is home to around 6 horses. We actually learned a few tricks on getting the attention of and posing the horses and this session is for sure, one of the most memorable in our career. Specially, for animal lovers like us. We are used to our clients incorporating their pet dogs and we even once photographed chickens and goats! But, horses was a first for us and not surprisingly, our riding couple graced us with some action photos of them riding around in their horses.
