Engagement Session at San Francisco’s Baker Beach

Michael and I get to meet clients from all around the world. It’s one of our favorite things about being photographers. Pretty much like getting to travel without ever leaving our home in San Francisco! Our couple in this day hail from Southeast Asia. Meyda is originally from Indonesia and is working here in Northern California. Her fiancé, Zhongming came from Singapore to visit her and photograph their engagement session in her current home. We had some restrictions on when to have the session because he was only here during the Christmas holidays, but we made it happen! We wanted to keep the session as “San Francisco” as possible, so one of the locations we visited was Baker Beach. You can’t beat the views of the Golden Gate Bridge from Baker Beach and we were so lucky that the fog was light enough to capture some of the beautiful light provided by the sunset.

One of our most preferred venues in San Francisco remains Bently Reserve. The classic sophistication of the building is a great location for elegant weddings. We really historical architecture and it doesn’t get any more inspiring in the city than Bently Reserve. We have had the pleasure of photographing here a handful of times and Lauren & Ray’s wedding is one of our favorite to date. They included a tea ceremony to pay respects to their Vietnamese heritage and the whole day seemed like the best, most beautifully designed family reunion ever. We had an amazing time that day and wanted to share some of the highlights of Lauren & Ray’s Bently Reserve wedding. Enjoy!
